We are directing our activities to two main target groups:
At the end of the project we expect that participating youth will be able to:
- Understand the value of soft skills, what they are and how they are demonstrated.
- Recognise where they have demonstrated strengths/improvement in their soft skills development identify and articulate examples of situations that illustrate a particular soft skill.
- Take personal ownership of soft skills development and work independently to reflect on their personal journey.
- Be motivated and willing to engage with their soft skills development.
The second target group, the practitioners, includes youth workers, trainers, teachers, mentors etc. who are working with young people and are helping them to develop their soft skills. They will be the main beneficiaries of the toolkit on soft skills development.
For these practitioners, we expect that as a result of their participation, they will:
- Have a better understanding of what the priorities are in terms of supporting soft skills development amongst young people,
- Have tools and guidance to ensure that soft skills development is fully integrated into a specific activity/intervention,
- Improve their approach to supporting soft skills development in young people.
- Young people aged 16-30
- Youth workers and youth practitioners
